The smells are still there too, car fumes, the klongs the restaurants
In the little lane behind the temple the stall with the banana pancakes is still there
Early morning in Kao San road. It is the same street we stayed in 13 years ago..the trip from the airport was like driving through the set of Bladerunner -
huge billboards - express ways high above the buildings, sky trains and the taxi driver racing along at 130 km an hour.
